Vortex Viper HST

This couldn't have been more plug and play. I have been able to dial out to 600 yards and hit an 8" gong 4/4 - straight out of the package. I couldn't be more happy with my decision to buy this.

Despite the bad reviews of uneducated users, this is an excellent product. Does what it's supposed to do! If you chronographed your load, gave the correct scope height, elevation, etc. it works. Have taken my 6.5 prc to 1,000 yards, dead nuts!!

The ammo didn't shoot good out of my gun once I got out past 100 yards so it was a waste of money for me. With that being said if you check to see how the ammo shoots out of your gun long distance before you order it you might get a good product. I also found that the cap I ordered is quite cheaper from vortex so I won't be ordering another from this company if I ever got another one. After I started shooting out further I learned that the cap is kind of pointless to have if you have a little bit of time at a range. I don't like that fact it doesn't have a zero stop either. Very easy to get confused unless you use it all the time.

I ordered two sets of custom dials. They arrived as expected and appear to be high quality. The custom etching is readable and nice. Only had the chance to try one but it was right on the money at 350 yards.

Just doing this to counter act the bad review based on customer error ridiculous this product is great and people are silly sometimes.
